February 25-26: Two days on the road

First stop on Sunday... L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue to browse
antiques.

Lunch at L'Auberge de la Fontaine in Venasque... Judy
had smoked salmon, then a delicate cabillaud (a white fish) in an olive
sauce...
Karen started with rabbit terrine, then had a delicious rabbit quarter in
mustard cream sauce...
dessert for both was yummy nougat ice cream with raspberry sauce...

Although we could barely move after lunch, we strolled around
Venasque to see the sights.

Next stop Rousillon, with its stunning ocher cliffs... |
Then back home to a Sunday supper of truffled eggs. |
Day Two of the Road Trip...
and they call the wind...MISTRAL!

Freezing as we get SO very close to home, but have to stop
for one last shoot... |

Tuesday is snow day in Uzès!

Woke up this morning to amazing and unusual weather...
THUNDERSNOW!

Had to get out to pick up food, including dessert...and
had a chance to slip and slide while taking photographs.
Ah, the dedicated artist...

Quel gâteau!
Chocolate filled with praline and almond,
topped with art in grand patisserie style...
