Dimanche à la campagne
Snow, snow, snow!

Salete et Pierre nous ont invité pour
un dimanche
à la campagne chez Daniel.
Salete a preparé un repas délicieux,
Daniel a été très accueillant,
Pierre a donné des cours de vocabulaire.
"Discerner...plaques d'immatriculation..."
Salete and Pierre invited us to go with them for
Sunday lunch in the country at Daniel's.
Salette brought a delicious meal,
Daniel was a most welcoming host,
Pierre gave vocabulary instruction.

La neige tombait sans cesse pendant le repas...
très beau, très tranquille, très fort...
presque quinze centimetres en tout. The snow fell
all afternoon while we ate,
beautiful, quiet, nearly six inches.

Quelle chance d'avoir rempli le cubie avant...
s'il y avait des problèmes sur la route,
on pourrait toujours se rechauffer avec un peu de vin!
Good thing we'd filled the cubie...if we had problems
on the way home we could warm ourselves with wine.
